Idea of the Week

Family - it's what we all cherish, and the idea of this week perfectly captures what family is all about and why it's so important. This is a beautiful saying about the strength of the family, and since it has your family name on it, it adds a touch of personalization that will have everyone else envious!

This design looks great in your home in entry way areas, stairways, living rooms, and especially around or above family pictures! It is also perfect for engagement, wedding and anniversary gifts!

This design looks great on the wall, and on a 12" tile. The pricing for the tile is $15 (this is the finished product pricing!) Pricing for a wall, depends on the size you are wanting, if you are wanting the lettering for a wall space, send me the dimensions and I'll provide you a quote.

Unique Plate Decor

Unique Plate Décor

Hey everyone! I'm having a Mid-Summer Special going on now through the end of August! All my plate designs are only $15 !!!!!!!!!!! (That's finished product pricing! Can you believe it...I know...great deal huh!)

Attached are two of my most popular designs. Keep an eye on my blog, I will be posting my newest designs soon. Pictures are to come, but they are of some cute chocolate sayings, and then I have 2 holiday plates I'm working on. One is a fall/Thanksgiving over sized plate that says "Because I have been given much...I too mush give..." and a Christmas plate that's red with white lettering saying "Wise Men Still Seek Him" The "I" in Him is placed with a star and below is a graphic of the wise men traveling on camels. It's really cute...describing it doesn't do it justice!

***A flat rate of $5.00 will be added to out of town orders

If you’re at all familiar with vinyl lettering being used in crafts and home decor, you probably have realized by now that the possibilities are limitless when it comes to creating unique and uplifting and personalized craft and home decor projects. Everyone knows that lettering looks beautiful on the wall, but there are many other possibilities to consider! So I put together some ideas for you to get the creative brain waves flowing:

  1. Home Decor Signs. Vinyl lettering can also be used to create unique, and inspiring home decor signs. A popular method is using rustic wooden signs and adhere vinyl lettering to achieve the beautiful custom look that will be admired.
  2. Decorative Tiles. Nothing quite sets off an entryway or sofa table like a 12″ decorative tile featuring a quote that captures the essence of your family, beliefs, and values. You can use vinyl lettering to create a custom home decor tile that matches not only your decor tastes, but your values as well. A design that I created that's very popular is the Initial tile that's pictured below. It's a beautiful way to welcome people into your home.
  3. Canisters. Whether its ceramic or stainless steel canisters labeling the canisters with a cute font saying Flour or Sugar can perk up the kitchen counter! Another area in the house were vinyl lettering adds a unique touch is in the bathroom! Glass canisters of cotton balls and q-tips are stylishly transformed. I have done both lettering "Cotton Ball" ect. or used beautiful graphics for a personalized look.
  4. Wall Signs. This is the most popular and most used method for vinyl lettering. With hundreds of fonts to choose from and my 2008 Idea Catalog creating a design for your home is a snap. Vinyl is especially convenient because it is easily applied and can last for years. The best part is when you are ready to remove the vinyl it peels right off with no adhesive residue or harm to the paint! This is a great for renters because it's a way to make that apartment or rental home feel like yours!
  5. Back to School. Vinyl lettering is great for back to school binders! Make organization a breeze for your kids by labeling their binders "Math, Social Studies, English" Here is a pictures of a back to school gift for the new teacher. I purchased a small wood framed chalkboard from the craft store and used white vinyl lettering for the teachers name and tied it off with a cute polka dot ribbon. This is an easy, inexpensive gift that the teacher loved! It was a great way to start off the school year!

These are just a few ways you can use vinyl lettering to create unique craft ideas. The bottom line is that vinyl lettering really does allow you a lot more flexibility, much less expensive at only $3.00 a linear foot (not priced by the size of the letter!!), faster and easier to apply than using paint.
